Cauliflower Pizza Crust & Easy Pizza Sauce

Cauliflower Pizza Crust Ingredients:
Cauliflower, 1 large head broken up into florets
½ cup mozzarella cheese grated
¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon Kosher salt
¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 large egg, lightly beaten
Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place the cauliflower florets into the bowl of a food processor and pulse until it resembles a coarse to fine meal texture.
Place the meal into a steamer basket on the stove and steam for approximately 8-10 minutes. Take the steamed meal and spread it evenly onto a towel and let cool for a few minutes.
Once cool, roll up the towel and wring out the water from the cauliflower meal. Place the meal into a large mixing bowl. Add all of the remaining ingredients and combine well using a fork.
Place the mixture onto a sheet pan that has been lined with parchment paper and press out to about an ⅛inch thickness to resemble pizza crust.
Bake for 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
Easy Pizza Sauce Ingredients:
3 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced fine
1 teaspoon dried oregano
3 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon Kosher salt
¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 – 15 ounce can low sodium tomato sauce
Directions: Pour the olive oil into a small saucepan set on medium heat. Add the garlic and oregano and saute for 1-2 minutes. Add the tomato paste and combine well. Add the onion powder, Kosher salt, cracked black pepper, and tomato sauce and combine well. Simmer on low for 20-30 minutes.

your favorite pizza toppings
Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F Place cooked cauliflower pizza crust onto a parchment lined sheet pan or pizza stone. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust and top with your favorite ingredients. Bake for approximately 10-12 until bubbly and golden. Let rest for a few minutes, slice, and enjoy.
